MCP Tools

This adapter provides 6 MCP tool(s) for AI agent integration:

Tool NameDescription
vault_writeWrite a file to the user's personal vault. Creates the file if it does not exist; overwrites if it does. Use vault:mkdir first to create parent directories. Supply exactly one of content, value, bytes (base64), or contentRef. Large binary uploads should use WebDAV PUT.
vault_createCreate a new file in the user's personal vault. Fails if the target already exists. Omit content to create an empty file. When supplied, content is the standard asset content descriptor: inline UTF-8 text, any resolvable ref, or a sha256 blob from content storage; sha256 alongside inline/ref verifies integrity. Parent directories must exist.
vault_listList files and directories in the user's personal vault. Omit path to list the vault root.
vault_mkdirCreate a directory in the user's personal vault.
vault_readRead a file from the user's personal vault. The 'mode' parameter controls how the file is returned: 'auto' (default) returns UTF-8 text for text files, or a reference with a WebDAV URL for binaries; 'text' forces UTF-8 decoding; 'bytes' returns base64-encoded bytes; 'json' parses the file as JSON and returns the value. For binary files, prefer the returned WebDAV URL rather than using 'bytes' mode.
vault_deleteDelete a file or directory from the user's personal vault. Set recursive=true for a non-empty directory.
